EXPERT PANEL TO STUDY SEAPLANE PROJECT

An expert committee, headed by ViceChancellor of the Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies, has been set up by the government to look into whether the seaplane services will affect fishing. Besides Vice chancellor Madhusoodhana Kurup, the representative of the Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute, Padmakumar, Secretary, Tourism, Suman Billa, and Managing Director of the Kerala Tourism Infrastructure Ltd., S. Anil Kumar, will be in the panel.

The decision to set up the committee was taken at the meeting convened here on Tuesday.
