Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy has said though the Lok
Sabha elections would be report card on the performance of the UDF government,
it will also reflect the people’s reaction to the violent political methods
adopted by the CPI(M) in the State.
At an election meeting at Peruvanthanam on Sunday, he
observed that after the murder of RMP leader T. P. Chandrashekaran, the CPI (M)
was continuing to target party leaders for leaving the organisation as it was
becoming weaker by the day.
The recent murder of a person at Thrissur is an example of
the party’s criminal political path.
